WIT Arena is Waterford’s newest and largest sports, events and conference facility. The complex which features a Gym, High Performance Area, Fitness Studio, Sports Hall, Events Hall with a seating capacity of 2000 plus five smaller seminar & training rooms as well as Bar and Restaurant contracted Guardian Fire & Safety to assist them meet their health & safety obligations.
The scope of this project included the install and commission of 46 new portable fire extinguishers for the Phase 3 fit out. Everlux photoluminescent extinguisher ID tags were provided which allow for easy identification in low light conditions.
A Fire Warden Training course was also facilitated on site to ensure staff can confidently assist patrons on the complex in a fire or emergency evacuation.
