On Friday night last, we took the great honor of accepting “Runner Up” in the Wexford Corporate Social Responsibility Award which was sponsored by Wexford Bus.
The hotly contested award which recognises companies who demonstrate that corporate social responsibility is an integral part of their business and lies at the core of their overall strategy, saw seven finalists vie for the much coveted award. Investments company BNY Mellon took the much deserving title of “Winner” whilst we scooped the highly commended “Runner Up” title.
Commenting on Guardian Fire & Security’s success, Margaret Goldsmith, Director noted:
“ We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised at such level. For us, Corporate Social Responsibility is about operating a sustainable, sound and ethical business and doing what’s right by our staff, customers, environment and the community in general. This acknowledgement provides us with great encouragement to further frame and develop our activities in the area of CSR. We are delighted to fly the flag for so many SME’s that do such great work in this area and we are very excited for the future”
Guardian Fire & Security would like to take this opportunity to wish BNY Mellon, who will now go forward to represent Wexford at the Chambers Ireland CSR Awards on September 1st, 2016 the very best of luck.
