Local fire protection specialists, Guardian Fire & Safety were celebrating recently as the company successfully achieved the I.S. 3218 certification award.
I.S. 3218 is the Irish Standard that governs Fire Detection & Alarm Systems for buildings and certification is awarded to companies that can demonstrate excellence and best practice in the commissioning and certification of fire alarm systems.
The process of certification involves a rigorous technical inspection of fire alarm installations against the requirements of the standard together with an internal company audit of management systems. The local company were highly commended for having a very professional and organised approach to the requirements of I.S. 3218.
